The Battle for Fort Greenwall
Join the Legion soldiers gathering southeast of the fort, just north of Riften, and clear the Stormcloak rebels from its courtyard and walls.
- Questline: Civil War – Imperial Legion
- Given by: Legate Rikke
- Reward: Tribune rank and a levelled item
- Where: Fort Greenwall
How to start
Report for duty to Legate Rikke at the Rift Imperial Camp after Compelling Tribute.
Can be missed
This battle unlocks the War Hero achievement. If the council skips it, Fort Sungard can earn it instead, but only when the council gave The Reach to the Stormcloaks. Fleeing the fight forfeits the Tribune promotion.
Good to know
Skipped if the Season Unending council gives The Rift to the Empire. Laila Law-Giver is exiled and Maven Black-Briar becomes Jarl of The Rift. Fleeing rebels run towards Shor's Stone, where hitting a guard by mistake earns a bounty.
