Skeleton Key
A lockpick that never breaks.
Where to get it
Taken from Mercer Frey at the end of the Thieves Guild quest Blindsighted.
Found in Irkngthand.
Good to know
It does not count toward Oblivion Walker, and it leaves your hands when you return it in Darkness Returns. Hold on to it as long as you like before finishing that quest.
Quests
- Blindsighted: Meet Karliah and Brynjolf at the Dwemer ruin of Irkngthand, west of Windhelm. Reward: Nightingale Bow, and the Skeleton Key for now.
