The Whispering Door
A longer, darker Whispering Door: obey Mephala, side with Balgruuf and be rid of the sword, play both sides, or change your mind at the last moment.

How to start
After Dragon Rising, hear the rumours about the Jarl's children from Hulda or Mikael at the Bannered Mare.
Objectives
- Find out what's wrong with Nelkir.
- Listen to the Whispering Door.
- Talk to Nelkir as Mephala asks, or warn the Jarl.
- Get the key to the Whispering Door and open it.
- Search the room and take the Ebony Blade.
- Report to Jarl Balgruuf – or turn the Ebony Blade on those close to you.
- Give the blade to a Vigilant of Stendarr – or keep it.
