How to start
Hear rumours of trouble at Largashbur, southwest of Riften. An Orc can ask the chief of another stronghold, who hands over a letter.
Objectives
- Find out what is happening at Largashbur.
- Talk to Atub, then to Chief Yamarz.
- Find the Shrine of Malacath northwest of Largashbur and inspect the skeleton there.
- Bring Troll Fat and a Daedra Heart to Atub.
- Watch Atub's ritual.
- Meet Yamarz at Fallowstone Cave and keep him safe.
- Defeat Garok Longstride.
- Take Shagrol's Hammer back to Largashbur and place it on the shrine.
- Go back to Atub.
Can be missed
Choosing the restoration route means giving up Volendrung.
Good to know
Know Bane of the Undead? Offer it to Yamarz instead: cast it in Largashbur and defeat the ghosts, then talk to Yamarz and Atub. That route gives up Volendrung.
