- Questline: New Lands – Vigilant: Act I
- Reward: The Horn of Stendarr
- Where: The Rift
How to start
Follows No Mercy if you spared the witches and stood against Altano.
Objectives
- Talk to Carene.
- Stop her, then talk to her again.
- Optionally, kill Carene – sparing her is worth karma.
- Leave this place.
- Report back to Thorondir at the Temple of Stendarr.
Can be missed
The Nexus page lists No Mercy and Art of Mercy as Act I's two branches, so the order may differ in game. Killing Carene forfeits the karma for sparing her, and one guide says killing Altano then Carene skips to Act IV. Unconfirmed.
