Aetherius
The end of Vigilant. Your karma, your answers to Lamae and Sheogorath, and what you touch decide which of four endings you see.
- Questline: New Lands – Vigilant: Act IV
- Where: Coldharbour
How to start
Step through the portal opened with the adabal at the top of Molag's White-Gold Tower.
Objectives
- Enter Aetherius through the portal.
- Answer Lamae about the ending.
- For the good ending: tell her you will think of one, touch the lute and follow the Bard's path to Molag Bal.
- Give Molag Bal a name: Successor, Justiciar or Liberator – each with its own lasting bonus.
- Or touch the spawn instead, or tell Lamae everyone dies, for one of the bitter endings.
Can be missed
The good ending needs enough karma – 75 on a first playthrough – and is the only one that opens the Elder Field.
