A Bitter Aftertaste
Eola was not Namira's only follower in Markarth. Follow the clues from Reachcliff Cave and bring the other cannibals to justice – by arrest, blackmail or the blade.
- Questline: Quest Expansions – Daedric quests
- Reward: Gold from blackmailing the cannibals; the Ring of Namira lies in Reachcliff Cave
- Where: The Reach
How to start
Turn on Eola instead of feeding her Verulus, and read the journal she carries.
Objectives
- Read Eola's journal.
- Look for evidence in Reachcliff Cave.
- Optionally, ask Brother Verulus to win you the Jarl's leave to confront the cannibals.
- Talk to the Jarl of Markarth.
- Confront Hogni Red-Arm.
- Confront Lisbet.
- Confront Banning.
- Go back to the Jarl of Markarth for your reward.
Can be missed
The journal is missed if you never loot Eola, though the mod adds a copy if you leave the Hall of the Dead without it; arrests need the earlier talks with Verulus and the Jarl.
Good to know
The addon also lets you turn on Eola in three new ways during The Taste of Death, and adds an optional fight with Namira's previous champion deep in Reachcliff Cave.
