- Raven Rock Mine (Dragonborn) – Mine: The town's ebony mine, with a smelter by the entrance. Draugr and a Dragon Priest hold it at the start.
- Saering's Watch (Dragonborn) – Dragon lair: A dragon lair in the shadow of Frykte Peak. A dragon also lairs here after the main quest Dragon Rising.
- Skaal Village (Dragonborn) – Settlement: Home of the Skaal tribe in the north-east of the island. The quest A New Source of Stalhrim starts here, and Fanari Strong-Voice offers a bandit bounty.
- Snowclad Ruins (Dragonborn) – Ruin: Werebears guard this small open-air Nordic ruin.
- Stalhrim Source (Dragonborn) – Landmark: A small open-air Nordic ruin.
- Sun Stone (Dragonborn) – Standing stone: Starts tainted. Cleansing it with Bend Will during Cleansing the Stones unlocks the power Sun Flare.
- Tel Mithryn (Dragonborn) – Settlement: Master Wizard Neloth's Telvanni tower, east of Fort Frostmoth. Neloth joins you in the sunken Dwemer ruin Nchardak during The Path of Knowledge.
- Temple of Miraak (Dragonborn) – Temple: A Nordic temple dedicated to Miraak, north of Kagrumez. The Tree Stone, the sixth All-Maker Stone, is trapped inside.
- Thirsk Mead Hall (Dragonborn) – Settlement: Rieklings drove the Nords out of this mead hall. Both Retaking Thirsk and The Chief of Thirsk Hall take place here.
- Tree Stone (Dragonborn) – Standing stone: The sixth All-Maker Stone, freed only after the main Dragonborn questline. Cleansing it unlocks the power Root of Power.
- Vahlok's Tomb (Dragonborn) – Nordic ruin: Draugr, corrupted shades and Vahlok the Jailor are inside.
- Water Stone (Dragonborn) – Standing stone: Starts tainted. Cleansing it with Bend Will during Cleansing the Stones unlocks the power Waters of Life.
- White Ridge Barrow (Dragonborn) – Nordic ruin: Bandits and spiders lurk in this medium-sized ruin.
- Wind Stone (Dragonborn) – Standing stone: Starts tainted. Cleansing it with Bend Will during The Fate of the Skaal unlocks the power North Wind.
- Wreck of the Strident Squall (Dragonborn) – Shipwreck: Reavers have settled in this wreck.
Quests
- Dragonborn (Dragonborn): After The Way of the Voice, masked cultists track you down in a town and attack. The orders on their bodies name a ship, the Northern Maiden, moored at the Windhelm docks. Reward: Passage to Solstheim.
- The Temple of Miraak (Dragonborn): Starts when Dragonborn ends, on the road up to the Temple of Miraak in the middle of Solstheim. Reward: A word of Dragon Aspect and the Black Book Waking Dreams.
- The Fate of the Skaal (Dragonborn): Frea leads you from the temple to Skaal Village, where her father Storn holds a barrier against Miraak's influence. Reward: A word of Bend Will; Frea can be taken along as a follower.
- Cleansing the Stones (Dragonborn): Storn asks for this after The Fate of the Skaal. Reward: The power of each cleansed stone.
- The Path of Knowledge (Dragonborn): Storn's advice after The Fate of the Skaal: the wizard Neloth, at Tel Mithryn, knows about Black Books. Reward: The Black Book Epistolary Acumen.
- The Gardener of Men (Dragonborn): Read Epistolary Acumen once The Path of Knowledge is done. Reward: The last two words of Bend Will and one of the book's three powers.
- March of the Dead (Dragonborn): Find Captain Veleth fighting ash spawn at the ruined Old Attius Farm, just outside Raven Rock. Reward: Levelled gold, and the general's warhammer, the Champion's Cudgel.
- The Final Descent (Dragonborn): Walk into Raven Rock Mine and break up the argument between Crescius Caerellius and his wife. Reward: Levelled gold, the Bloodskal Blade, the mask Zahkriisos and a word of Dragon Aspect.
- Served Cold (Dragonborn): With March of the Dead and The Final Descent both done, Captain Veleth sends you to Second Councilor Adril Arano, who fears a plot against Councilor Morvayn. Reward: Severin Manor, a furnished house in Raven Rock, and levelled gold.
- A New Debt (Dragonborn): After Reluctant Steward, the moneylender Mogrul decides that Drovas Relvi's 1,000 gold debt is yours, since Drovas is out of reach in Neloth's tower.
- An Axe to Find (Dragonborn): Speak to the blacksmith Glover Mallory in Raven Rock. Reward: The Ancient Nordic Pickaxe to keep, or levelled gold.
- Clean Sweep (Dragonborn): Speak to Elder Othreloth in the Raven Rock Temple. Reward: Levelled gold.
- Feeding the Addiction (Dragonborn): Speak to Bralsa Drel in Raven Rock once the town's people are free of the Earth Stone. Reward: Enchanted weapon.
- Fetch the Netch (Dragonborn): Speak to the alchemist Milore Ienth at her stall in Raven Rock. Reward: Two Potions of Ultimate Well-being.
- First Edition (Dragonborn): Speak to Cindiri Arano in Raven Rock. Reward: Levelled enchanted jewellery.
- It's All In The Taste (Dragonborn): Speak to Geldis Sadri behind the bar of the Retching Netch. Reward: Levelled gold.
- Paid in Full (Dragonborn): Speak to Glover Mallory in Raven Rock as a member of the Thieves Guild: he is Delvin's brother. Reward: The key to Glover's cellar, which holds the Blackguard's armour and an exquisite sapphire.
- Pain in the Necklace (Dragonborn): Speak to the trader Fethis Alor at his stall in Raven Rock. Reward: 500 gold per pendant.
- Recipe for Distraction (Dragonborn): Speak to Captain Veleth in Raven Rock after March of the Dead. Reward: Levelled gold.
- Reluctant Steward (Dragonborn): Speak to Neloth in his mushroom tower at Tel Mithryn, or come across the body of his steward Varona on the road toward Raven Rock. Reward: 500 gold, use of the staff enchanter and a look at the Black Book The Hidden Twilight.
- Heart Stones (Dragonborn): One of the errands Neloth offers once you have spoken to him about his steward. Reward: 250 gold.
- Azra's Staffs (Dragonborn): One of the errands Neloth offers once you have spoken to him about his steward. Reward: A random staff.
- Briarheart Necropsy (Dragonborn): Offered by Neloth after Reluctant Steward. Reward: 250 gold.
- Experimental Subject (Dragonborn): One of the errands Neloth offers once you have spoken to him about his steward. Reward: 250 gold each time.
- Old Friends (Dragonborn): After Briarheart Necropsy, return to Tel Mithryn to find it under attack by ash spawn. Reward: A levelled staff, and Neloth names you a member of House Telvanni.
- Telvanni Research (Dragonborn): Offered by Neloth once your Conjuration skill is 40 or higher. Reward: 250 gold; Talvas starts selling the Conjure Ash Spawn tome.
- Wind and Sand (Dragonborn): Offered by Neloth after Old Friends and Experimental Subject, once your Destruction skill is 40 or higher. Reward: Gold, and Neloth starts selling the Whirlwind Cloak tome.
- Lost Knowledge (Dragonborn): After The Gardener of Men, ask Neloth what else he knows about Black Books. Reward: 1,000 gold for each of the three.
- From the Ashes (Dragonborn): Speak to Neloth's apprentice Talvas Fathryon outside the tower at Tel Mithryn. Reward: A staff or the Conjure Ash Guardian tome; Talvas becomes a follower and sells spell tomes.
- Healing a House (Dragonborn): Speak to the alchemist Elynea Mothren at Tel Mithryn. Reward: Two levelled potions of well-being.
- Hunting and Gathering (Dragonborn): Offered by Elynea Mothren after Healing a House. Reward: Gold.
- A New Source of Stalhrim (Dragonborn): After The Fate of the Skaal, listen to Deor Woodcutter and Fanari Strong-Voice in Skaal Village arguing about the missing smith, Baldor Iron-Shaper. Reward: Baldor teaches you to forge stalhrim and marks the Stalhrim Source on your map.
- Lost Legacy (Dragonborn): After A New Source of Stalhrim, the Skaal historian Tharstan tells you that a rockslide has opened an old tomb. Reward: 1,000 gold and all three words of Battle Fury.
- Filial Bonds (Dragonborn): Speak to Wulf Wild-Blood in Skaal Village. Reward: One level each in Archery, Block, Heavy Armor and One-handed.
- Convince Nikulas to Stay in Skaal Village (Dragonborn): Speak to Edla in Skaal Village. Reward: Five each of ashen grass pods, emperor parasol moss and scathecraw.
- Take Bera's Necklace to Runil (Dragonborn): Speak to Morwen in Skaal Village after The Fate of the Skaal. Reward: Nordic carved helmet; Morwen can be married afterwards.
- Retaking Thirsk (Dragonborn): Speak to Bujold the Unworthy at Bujold's Retreat, the camp where the hall's Nords live in exile. Reward: A master Heavy Armor trainer and the goodwill of the hall's Nords.
- The Chief of Thirsk Hall (Dragonborn): Walk into Thirsk Mead Hall before helping Bujold and talk to the Riekling Chief, the one who speaks a little of your language. Reward: Rieklings that fight beside you as followers.
- Ashfire Mead for Elmus (Dragonborn): Speak to the brewer Elmus at Bujold's Retreat. Reward: Levelled gold.
- Juniper Berries for Elmus (Dragonborn): Speak to Elmus in Thirsk Mead Hall after Retaking Thirsk. Reward: Ten bottles of Ashfire Mead and levelled gold.
- Crafting Materials for Halbarn (Dragonborn): Speak to the smith Halbarn Iron-Fur in Thirsk Mead Hall after Retaking Thirsk. Reward: Levelled gold.
- Riekling Spears for Hilund (Dragonborn): Speak to Hilund in Thirsk Mead Hall after Retaking Thirsk. Reward: Levelled gold.
- Unearthed (Dragonborn): Speak to Ralis Sedarys at the buried Kolbjorn Barrow, south-east of Raven Rock. Geldis Sadri at the Retching Netch can point you there. Reward: The relics of Ahzidal, the mask Ahzidal and a word of Cyclone.
- Deathbrand (Dragonborn): From level 36, read the book Deathbrand, copies of which lie around Solstheim. Reward: The four pieces of Deathbrand armour and the twin swords Bloodscythe and Soulrender.
- The Kagrumez Gauntlet (Dragonborn): Enter the Dwemer ruin of Kagrumez and read the resonance gates in its entrance hall. Reward: Dwarven Black Bow of Fate and two Steadfast Dwarven followers, a spider and a sphere.
- Hrodulf's Madness (Dragonborn): Enter Hrodulf's House, a lonely cabin on Solstheim, and read the journal inside.
- Summoning Karstaag (Dragonborn): Take the Skull of Karstaag from the Glacial Cave on the north coast of Solstheim. Reward: The power Summon Karstaag, which works three times in all.
- Visit the Hunters at Frostmoon Crag (Dragonborn): Ask Geldis Sadri at the Retching Netch for rumours, or walk up to the camp at Frostmoon Crag. Reward: The chance to buy four werewolf rings from Majni.
